Faiyaz Notta

Dr. Notta did his PhD in the laboratory of Dr. John Dick, an internationally renowned cancer biologist. He did his post-doctoral fellowship in pancreatic cancer genomics under the supervision of Dr. Tom Hudson, the founder of the International Cancer Genome Consortium and the previous president of the Ontario Institute of Cancer Research. He is also an expert on stem cell biology and leukemia. Dr. Notta joined Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in November 2016 and is an expert on pancreatic cancer research. He is also the co-lead for the PanCuRx program at OICR. His work sheds new light on pancreatic cancer and provides a unique opportunity to decipher new molecular targets that are desperately needed to this disease.
